got this on my TWD at the office. Relatively easy to install and very good quality, uses smartphone/wifi to setup the colours! Unfortunately I the flasher bit I couldn't do but even without that its very good. Note though this doesn't do it justice as my office is well lit. When the GI blinks it looks awesome, plan to hook the flasher bit up to the well walker switch. Will take video when done.

I've got a couple (with UV triggers) and am stuck to what to put them in.

Considering (of my collection)

TWD LE, MB, LOTR, TOTAN, TOM, TAF, LZ

I am worried it'll look so good I'd want some more.

A few before and after pics wouldn't go amiss :)

I looked these at while ago and think they look great. Some machines are just too dark. What the You Tube videos showing you how the app works etc on your phone, very cool. I think the SDTM guys did it.

If you can’t see a difference you need you freaking eyes testing!!!

How well the effect is will always depend on your environment - but being able to uplift the light from inside the machine is super helpful from glare and reflection POV - My office is well lit but when playing the game it adds a lot of extra atmosphere like the premium light show - but yes it’s not absolutely neccasery but it’s a great way to light up the playfield more.

I think they're being a little naughty with those before and after shots, but am reliably told the effect is very good. I'll have a think about what to install it in first. I've got various options for my pin room, main lights ON/OFF (office ceiling panels), some standup ikea lights ON/OFF, some wall mounted neons ON/OFF (which I tend to use the most). I'll see which is darkest although most of my machines have leds and lit OK.

In the shot of Dialed In, that seems overly dark, it seems fine in my hall lit only by natural light.

Since I'm restoring my TOM, I may save one for that since it'll have a beautiful new playfield.

I just went and looked at DI with lighting just natural light, I can imagine a pinstadium would make a lot of difference with no other lighting on, I imagine it really brings the playfield art up, but hadn't really noticed a difference when playing it.

I know a lot of people aren't too bothered about aesthetics and are happy to play regardless of mods, LED's and suchlike. Personal choice as ever, I prefer to make them look as good as I can and enjoy modding/owning/maintaining as much as I do playing.

Always a fan of retina burning lighting options. i think i'll wait until the 'surface of the sun' model comes out.

Would they not be too overpowering with mirror blades also fitted?

They come with app so you can mess around with the brightness, all my machines have mirror blades on. I tried my machines with various lighting in the room and only a few could do with it to bring out the playfield art. I think I'll do Monster Bash and see how it looks after. I'll save one for my TOM.
