So, i’m struggling getting the relay timer i bought to work off the tna beacon. It does work but then reactivates if a pop or sling or scoop is hit. Worked out there is a minute volt drop from the mosfet when certain coils are fired
sooooo without spending years trying to figure it out I checked out pinsound website and they do the shaker motion board
Tna is a pinsound compatable game - Before i go further will this do what i want. On beacon activation i’ll get a 3 second relay output activation and no more until the next reactor.
Thing is if you drain the beacon stops and then restarts on the next ball so wonder if it can be programmed to have a time delay on or after a sequence of shots ?!?

So you are trying to run a relay from the voltage drop on beacon activation? Did you loop it into the beacon cabling?

ok. pin sound told me itisnt compatable

@drhex I am using the 12v beacon cable to trigger the relay but the voltage dips as explained and keeps triggering the timer relay function.

Ok, do you have it wired in parallel? What kind of relay is this? Maybe add a cap to smooth dips?

I'd separate the signal from the power. i.e use an opto isolator

Don’t think this is a loading issue. You either need to reduce the switching level of the relay or stabilize the power supply.
