Pinhaus: Pinball's Alive! - 21st October

We are excited to announce our next PinHaus pinball competition will be Pinball’s Alive on Saturday 21st October! Join us in Sudbury, Suffolk, for a day of Flash Gordon themed pinball and Max Matchplay qualifying.

Registration will be Saturday 23rd September at midday on my website, as before - I'll share the URL nearer the time. Max 25 players (including David and I).

Price will be £15 per person (which includes refreshments + lunch + cheesecake - plus the souvenirs 'raffle'!). Our address will be shared after registration.

Doors from 10:30 with Max Matchplay qualifying starting at 12:00. You'll play 24 head-to-head games (this may be less, if we have last minute cancellations). This format worked really well in April so we're looking forward to doing it again!

Top 8 will go to qualifying, with the top 2 players getting a bye to the final.

Save the date - we wanted to make sure everyone had the date in their diaries before other events start coming up

It'll be the first Pinhaus comp with the pinball room finished! Builders in Monday to make the room much more presentable.

I feel like this will be our most in demand event yet as the East Anglian pinball scene has grown substantially since our previous events.

Just a reminder - tickets will be available at midday today. I've used TicketTailor rather than Eventbrite so hopefully there won't be any issues on mobile this time!

Tickets are £15 each but you won't need to pay on booking - I'll message you to organise payment and send our address (and other info!) later.

We'll be starting the comp bang on 11am so if you're late you'll be added in as soon as you arrive, there's no penalisation for it it's just not ideal as you'll be jumping straight in and be rushing from the get go.

At the moment the weather isn't looking good, fingers crossed like last time the rain doesn't turn up

Huge thanks to @David_Vi and @Lecari for hosting and putting on a fantastic tournament. Also a massive thank you to Lee for the veggie food, that chickpea curry was so good.

Some awesome play today, including @OTRawrior @NateG119 and Jeremy, but my player of the day was Martin. An absolutely fantastic qualifying run, and was rock solid all day!

Another superb Pinhaus tournament, cheers guys x

Just got home after a 2 hour drive. Another great tournament at the Pinhaus. Great food and great format which lets you talk to everyone. I was probably player of the day.

Thanks Claire & David for being amazing hosts for a great bunch of pinheads. East Anglian pinball is truly alive!!

Food was delicious (loved the chicken curry!) and all the games played really well. Only disappointment was my lack of ability to play any decent pinball
