Pinbits Gumball lighting mod Question

All,

Long story short: I've got this little Pinbits Twilight Zone Gumball LED PCB in front of me, labelled TZG2A, but no notched Gumball fin or associated wiring connections.

I'm trying to find out if this board is the standard, presumably cool white version:

or the less popular 'Warm White' option.

The pictures or item code don't reveal anything... but once i know which version i have here; I may order the alternative from Pinbits so i have a full kit of parts plus a choice of PCBs/colours (slightly excessive i realise).

I don't have a spare Gumball fin to experiment notching with, so was hoping to pick one up in the UK somewhere... any ideas? As for recreating the small wiring loom, I'm open to suggestions!

the notching of the fin is pretty straightforward. a few minutes work with a dremel or similar will see if suitably notched. The notch isnt visible with the gumball lid fitted so doesnt have to be super tidy.
As for the wiring, the connection to the board is a standard molex KK 0.1" header pin connector. Guessing that Andy Netherwood would sell them. If not then Ebay for £2 (item 111121574501). The wiring connections to the game are soldered in place. The installation instructions show where they go

If you connect it up and find you don't like the colour of the LED's, you could just buy 5mm LED's of a different colour and solder them on.

Don't suppose you know the pin-outs from the Pinbits board too?

Their guide suggests 2 cables to GI - possibly pin 1 and another.
and another 2 go to specific connections under the playfield, a little trickier!

Ill have a check over the next couple of days. The gi connections won't be polarity sensitive as that's ac. That will answer your warm white or bright white question. The other 2 connections will be polarity sensitive, but won't damage anything if you get them wrong. The image on the link shows you where to solder the wires to make it work right.
