@Lickashot a summer tournament for you 
My favourite card is the one that says "Whisper the word poo" to put off the opponent of your choice.
Ohh that was what you were saying! Been wondering, as you were on my deaf side….
For anyone intrigued and not come to a critical hit comp before, this is a fun, much less serious pinball competition that is really good for newer players as well as veterans.
You get critical hit cards given randomly to you at the start of the day - these can be used to help you, like give you an extra ball, change the game to something you like, or even swap scores with another player! There are many different things the cards can do. Usually this tournament is good for newer players as generally they will be left alone whereas the better players might be attacked. Last time there were 50 players so a decent turnout as well.
Get it in the diary if you can make it!

Sounds great, planning to make the trip up for it!
As you live in Redditch mate you might want to head down instead of up otherwise you'll be at the club in Blackpool
Always good fun! One of my faves is cover the scores up!

Sounds great. Been looking for an excuse to get down to pinball republic for ages.
A great mix of classic, mid and modern and an opportunity for you to try many of the machines you have never played before and get some more experience !!!

is it a closed event or can my wife and lads pop in and have a few games - I doubt they will stay all day though and will likely want to just pootle around London (I could always leave them at home if not - no drama).

PBR is usually open to the public during a comp. They just have to be mindful of games going on
