Hi All,
Two questions.

1) Has anyone used the back box translite on a Pin2k to reflect the monitor so you can read it when the glass is removed? It's meant to slide in between the monitor and the top of the side rails being held in place by the plastic stops that stick inwards on the front of the backbox resting on top of the side rails.
I can't seem to push the translite all the way up because the monitor is quite low and stops it from going right to the back.

2)When playing the game I get a reflection from the translight right in the middle of the playfield which obscures the ball.

Anyone else observed that?
Andrew

Just tried mine, the translite seems to just fit under the monitor and drop into place. Maybe your monitor position can be adjusted. How about if you removed the top plastic trim from the translite, does it fit then?

The reflection can be a problem, you could switch the flourescent tube off or there are some gel wrapper filter things availble to wrap around the tube and dim or colour it.

Does your monitor look like is almost touching the pf glass?
I'll try the translite without the plastic trim, but I think I'd rather just buy some cheap thin mirrored plastic and keep it to hand.
The annoying thing about the reflected translite on the playfield is the speaker panel does protrude out quite a bit like they attempted to solve the problem but then didn't quite follow it through.
Loving the game, probably the most fun game I have ever owned.
Cheers,
Andrew

Monitor definitely doesn't touch the playfield glass, I can almost get my little finger between them so gap is probably about 6 or 7 mm.

Take the 4 monitor bolts out and add a couple of extra washers to lift the screen up a bit, mine is well proud of the glass. What monitor is it ?

The gap between the monitor and glass is too small to slide in my naked iPhone 6. I might try and slide in a couple of washers onto the mounts.

Had a couple of RFM, the gap on mine is 7.5mm from the top of the glass to the lowest part of the CRT screen, loads of room for the translite to fit in. Are the side rails sat too proud maybe ? Has it been re decalled ? I assume that you know the translite only goes in 1 way round

Translite glass facing upwards with the lowest edge nearest the front. It's just 5mm to long to hook behind the stops. With the actual translate plastic and trim removed it might fit, but I don't really want to do that each time.

That's odd then the ones I've had are a tight fit but no force is required. Maybe the side rails are a bit bent get a few pictures up

It's not a show stopper. I'm able to get by with a mirror I had laying around.
