Just went to swop over a spare pin2dmd into my tftc and having a strange issue where after it comes on fine with colour files but after 10 to 20 seconds, the display freezes for a few seconds then picks up where it left off with the colours gimped. So far I've tried a couple of sdcards without success, iam taking power from cn6. If I eliminate the card entirely and just set it to single colour mode it works fine. Any one had a similar issue?

For future reference I managed to sort this with a 3rd sdcard.. These pin2dmds seem to be very picky with cards

Hello friend.. I have a similar problem, it seems that the files got corrupted and I put another one and it didn't work.. could you share the file that works on your TFTC?

The files are locked to the hardware for each display, they won't work on any other pin2dmd. You'll need to contact the author to get files that'll work for you.

They're the same content but for pin2dmd the files are keyed to the hardware id and there's a small charge from the author each time. @Terranigma takes care of this when you order displays from him. I'm more than happy to pay it, I imagine it's a lot of work goes into creating them.

It's been mentioned before about the files being locked to the one but I have had a few pin2dmds and I actually swapped files on one from getaway-T2 and bsd and all worked fine?

Interesting, I've just been reading an old thread on here and it seems it's dependent on which author does the colourisation. I'm pretty sure i've had to pay for all mine, don't think i've ever tried swapping one though. 🤷‍♂️

All have been legit files from previous pim2dmds I owned but I kept backups on the pc and I did swap one dmd between them 3 pins and all worked. I'm pretty sure I tested a sttng file for someone aswell as they had problems with an sd card.
@WanderLeonel maybe message the original seller/ author see if they can check it for you and send another?
