I've recently acquired a Stern Star Trek with a Pin2DMD in it.
It works fine and shows the right animations etc but to me some of the colours look wrong, and it certainly looks quite different to the YouTube vid that shows colourisation v1.61, which is the version I have.
I updated the Pin2DMD firmware to v4.31 which has seemed to make a difference though it’s still not correct, for example the blue borders on the end of ball bonus screens are actually mid brown and some animation colours are out. I think the RGB setting on the display is correct (I’ve tried them all anyway!) and presumably if the rom file was in any way corrupt it just wouldn’t work?
This is my first experience of Pin2DMD so I may be missing something obvious or just talking nonsense, but is it possible that the Pal file might be wrong for the colourisation?
I wondered if anyone who has a Star Trek with Pin2DMD could send me their Pal file (or at least compare display settings etc with me) or if anyone has had similar issues in the past?
Thanks very much
Andy
