Is there one of these anywhere ? I see lots of internet posts with people saying how great RS looks with colour display - but ive yet to find a colour file for it it.
I see @NetzZwerg has one in progress but no idea when that will drop.
Having just connected my Pin2DMD up it looks somewhat meh without any palette at all :(

I only had a colordmd in RS that did look awesome. Not sure if anyone had done one for pin2dmd as of yet. Vpinuniverse is usually the place to check. (I think that’s the site) If there’s one it will be on there.

It is still in progress I believe, plenty of dynamic scenes in that one so it's a tough slog I'm sure. But it may be worth dropping him a PM, he may be willing to give you early beta access if you send him a donation...

Yeah - did that already. Well I didn't say can I beta test it, but I did enquire about it :)

I got a copy of it by asking and providing a donation. It's wonderful although a few of the transitions are a bit janky but the main modes and screens are done beautifully!

Poor @-NetzZwerg- has his hands full! I have his very early version of TZ in my machine - long way to go there. Some of the completed animations look fantastic - the Gumball Machine in particular, and the Robot looks cool. He must spend a huge amount of time doing all this stuff.

His work on the RS colourisation is amazing. I hope he can overcome the hurdles to get it finished at some point.
I had the biggest grin when I fired it up and played my first game with it.

Without a colour file it really doesnt look great. (Its been a while since I was on VP and seem to have forgotten my PWD - and the reset doesnt seem to want to send a link :( )
Maybe ill sell the Pin2DMD and get a colour dmd

Until you get a complete colourization file you could pick a colour and set different shades similar to the OG DMD screens, its much better than the default pallette and its quick to configure.

Prior to upgrading to full colourization I had configured Green for CFTBL and Blue for FT.

You can contact Roadshow author on here directly, he'll send u a Dropbox link making it easy to get upgrades if having reset issues.

PIN2DMD isnt for everyone. I'm sure it will get picked up quickly if you do decide to sell it on. I've had quite a few people ask for more.

Cheers
Mike

It looks great in my Addams with a "tinkied up" palette. Without it almost looks worse than plain orange.

I guess if I sell it I should get back what I paid more or less. (Wanders off to see how much that was :) )

I did get back into VPU but I see no roadshow colour files :(

Well yes.. and no.
I have his Addams files and they are outstanding. But his RS ones are not complete. And it sounds like it might not happen anytime soon.
There doesnt seem to be any other RS ones out there.

Ah understood, surely worth a look though based on David_Vi's comments above - quite a cost uplift to switch to ColorDMD. I'm biased though, I like the whole ethos behind Pin2DMD and the fact that I can uniquely colour my own machines:cool:

ah :)

then yes... and no :)

Well ill see if I can at least get what I paid back. if not will try chucking it on flea bay. Its brand spanky new and doesnt need activating so...

colour dmd here I come :)

Assume you didnt buy it through the group buy? They were £145 plus £8 shipping in the last two group buys for the Standard version (the one that fits RS).
