Hi all, jus gd ripped my brand new pin2dmd and broke spoke leds off the front. I have checked online for a replacement screen but so many to chose from. Mine is one long panel but can only find two halves to make the one display. Don’t suppose anyone has a link for a new rgb panel please as so many to chose from. Gutted I broke it but maybe I will be more careful next time!!!
thanks
steve

If you check the reverse I think you’ll see it’s made up of 2 panels with a ribbon cable connecting them. Saying that the damage is right on the edge, surely won’t show up during gameplay.

Thanks for the reply, I will check again. It does show a little on fish tales. Maybe on a different game it won’t show as much. I will look online for the panels.
Thanks

Steve

You can buy the panels cheap on AliExpress if you want to replace them, buy in pairs so the colours match correctly.

Depending on the panel time i may have a spare - Would need to check if compatible though... (and make sure i had one)

Failing that @MadNat may have one....

I would be seriously surprised it it was all one panel....

I do have panels but - they all have a pixel or two missing. They don't travel well. Tried to ship 2 good ones to a member here and they arrived damaged. Still need to hand deliver the last 2 good ones I have left as it's too risky trying to send another.

Fr the various group buys we I managed I handled about 400 panels about 8% got damaged one way or another.

What companies do you buy from? me and a friend have been using coreman for P3/P5 (different project none pinball related) and have had good results so far.
