Pin2dmd fitting to data east

I have removed my pin2dmd from my getaway (wasnt too happy with the files i had with this one) and i want to fit it to my TFTC i already have the files for this.. can the same cable be used or do i need something else now? Just wanted to find out what needs doing before i start removing the original dmd

I don't believe you can. I'm assuming this plugged into connector J117 on the Getaway? I don't think there is an equivalent on the TFTC. Looking at the hardware install guide, for Data East it is running the Pin2DMD from the 12V on CN6

No. What version of pin2dmd do you have? Some have an inbuilt voltage regulator
