Pin wanted, up to 2k, be gentle....

Always baffled by Stiff. Style over substance imo. Looks good. Sounds good. Gameplay??? Fun enough but just not enough going on to ever keep me interested. Nearly bought one several times then remembered it bores me after 2 games.

Different strokes.... As Elvira might say [emoji3]

Hmm, Big Buck Hunter has a manly theme and is a chance to get a recent Stern for £2K.

I've never played BBH, I guess it's not very popular but I don't know if that's due to the theme, gameplay or both.

BBH pinball would be a geat pin theme for a man cave, and if you wanted I know someone selling the arcade machine, would make a good pair.

I owned a BBH for a couple of months, really liked it. Layout is very similar to Avatar and Iron Man being of the same Borg era. Hard as nails to get to the wizard mode, “open season”.
Great fun though, especially the moving buck.
On the downside, don’t think much effort was put in to the coding, rules are very shallow.

Sorry chief, not fussed about that one, didn't like the movie!

I hated The Addams Family and Wizard of Oz films but I love both pinball machines and will never part with either of them.

Same for my Metllica pinball - love it to bits but hate the band and not fussed about their music.

You should play it before dismissing it because you didn’t like the film.

Nah, couldn't do that I'm afraid, I'll have to like the theme as much as the game play, if I hated the movie, I'd be irritated every time I looked at / played the pin!

I'm miles behind in time with this thread, but I think if you judge a game on its theme, you'll miss out on loads of great games.
It is a bit like arcade and video games, the big license games are usually poor, while the lesser known license games are better.
I also understand people being picky, so don't worry about it.

I agree. Flintstones was a real stinker of a film, but it’s a great all rounder pin.....dam why did I sell it....also, you can get a good pin at a better price as the theme turns people away. Shadow and Roadshow used to be shunned....baywatch is allegedly very good, but questionable theme....

Might not be a popular theme in this country but a massively popular and lucrative theme in parts of Europe. A hunting themed video game I once worked on very briefly used to bring in a million £ per month.

I couldn’t buy bbh coz of the theme, just does nowt for me. Wizard of oz is too gay, loved the film when I was 6, but too camp now for me, however because it appears to be a good game and is a jj would consider buying. I want an ABBA pin or Priscilla queen of the desert to get in touch with my feminine side.

There's as many ladies as gents frequent Elders bar,so wouldn't be averse....... but still got my heart set on a RFM, going to look at / play with one today at Electric Circus.
