As title says Pin Mojo required last seen somewhere around 2012 when X-Men came out been kinda MIA since then... All suggestions welcome, pretty much placing all pin mojo help on ghostbusters but let's be honest it's gonna be exciting for a few months until the next licence is revealed.

My experience is that this is normal, and spanking big money on the latest and greatest title doesn't help. I had almost a year without a pin, then came back to it and enjoyed it again.

Just take some time off, and come back when you fancy it. At the end of the day, the internet offers an almost unlimited supply of free porn, the sort of stuff that when you were a teen was only available from that lucky bastard on your school bus who saw a pile of well-used mags that someone had thrown in the public litter bin and had the foresight to shove them in their school bag and sell them on. We live in a golden age now @Will, roll with the times and come back when you are ready.

Your right ...
Time away is good , maybe sell up and then start again a few years later is the answer. And come back fresh

And single player battle front does indeed suck, gonna be selling PS4 #2 later tonight if I can see straight ;)

I'll home your Star Wars, as a favour like :)

But seriously, a bit of time off helped for me. Just loan them out to people you trust, take a break, then come back refreshed.

I had similar so went into other eras, 70's, 60's and 50's. Pretty much been through them all now. There are only a handful of games from 1950 - 2016 on my wanted list now.

The strange thing is I spend more time restoring/fixing than playing now and a few years ago I couldn't even change a bulb!

So, I notice many people when they have collected/played pretty much everything, move on to restoration/fixing - it's a whole new world:)

Yeah get a real fixer up, not in @newdos DM state but one that needs a good overhaul. Your gain appreciation all over again for every little screw, switch, bell and whistle and then get that sense of pride and satisfaction when you have the first credit dot free game. Or not. Your call.

Agree, you will regret selling them. A friend close by restores and fixes pins and gets more pleasure doing that than playing. Although they are getting harder to find. I can't say I'm fed up at all. I still marvel at the work that's involved in building these things. One thing I will say is I rarely switch on my ps4. Really must complete the DLC on Destiny. Last game I played and completed was the marvellous Bloodbourne. Games like this are very rare though..

Advising Will to get more involved in fixing machines:eek: I think you might have seriously over-estimated his legendary DIY skills

Your mojo will come back mate. I go through periods of not being ****d to play. I don't think I've been in the shed since Sept, so there's at least 5 untouched machines down there. I tend to go through a unconscious rotation. Some machines won't get played for over a year and then it'll become my go to machine.

If you have made 40 without growing up then it probably will never happen

I've been in missing mojo limbo too. I changed my pin philosophy and instead of chasing the so called 'A' games went for interesting games instead.
I sold a couple of pins and I got two classic Bally SS games and a Dr Who (live the subtle gameplay rules of it, reminds me of WH20).

Gonna be selling my Twilight Zone soon and possibly my Indiana Jones to create some space and cash for further experimentation. I may even consider getting an EM project.

It will come back, you just have to sit and have a think as to what isn't working anymore for you. We all change as we get older and sometimes have to have a moment to reflect on what is important to you.

Dude, go for the weirder stuff  Pick one of the more obscure companies and see if you can find some of their best games. Companies like Hankin (they do a Star Wars game), Inder, Segasas/Sonic, Recel, Interflip etc. If the pleasure is in the hunt then trying to track down good examples of these types of games could fill a lot of time :D

Play less often, and badly. You'll make them last longer.

Very young children seem to be a good ying to balance the pinball yang. I barely get time to look at them, let alone switch them on or play. And if I do it's one handed while he smears drool all over the PDI/Invisglass (cringe).

You need a project to focus on, South Coast Slam will give you that. You'll be too busy to play any pinball let alone want to.

Will your having what's known as a mid life crisis or your going through the menopause. I favor the latter as you come across a a right old women sometimes.:)
