Just to remind people that there's a lot of digital angles on Amazon that are in the £12 - £20 range that are far more accurate than bubble indicators.
eg.

I'm still not sure how one that sits at the flippers is any use beyond on a select number of games because it won't always sit true because of differing flipper setups.

Looks like a pair of y-fronts, so maybe something underwear related?I made one as well last night, just for something to do.... waiting for my bubbles to arrive from AmazonAsked ChatGPT to come up with a name for it

Don’t get why everyone on about the price, compared to the price of the machine it’s pennys lol
This applies to most pinball machines and insanely stupidly priced mods and TOPPERS as well.Maybe the objection is they are charging $30 for something that costs about $5 in parts.
Someone will do this and charge £2500 for it LOL and people will line up to buy itThe Pokémon topper just leaked...just add 2 zeros for the correct price.

I suppose the main difference is that the average Joe at home can't make a pinball machine. It's hard to make a pinball machine, you're paying for the expertise, design & knowledge as much as the cost of the parts. This applies to most pinball machines and insanely stupidly priced mods and TOPPERS as well.
Most things in this hobby cost nothing to produce yet have insane markup but cost thousands and thousands, wondering why the cheap $30 thing becomes a problem?
I mostly agree with the stupidly overpriced toppers and some other mods, but $30 for a little level I don't think is too bad? someone has invested time in designing, printing, marketing, shipping it. Cant they be rewarded for that bit of work? I don't think there is much profit being made on these cheap little things.I suppose the main difference is that the average Joe at home can't make a pinball machine. For a 3D printed item which takes less than 10 minutes to design, and less than £2 to make, to have such a relatively large price tag is what winds people up.
But as long as people are willing to keep paying for such stuff, or other 'mods' (a plastic toy from eBay with LEDs thrown at it) they'll continue to proliferate.
I don't think that there's anything wrong with people calling out others for perceived profiteering. People are free to spend their money on whatever they choose, but there's no harm in pointing out cheaper alternatives.
Now sober, and had 10 minutes free at lunch.
Measures side to side as well as 6.5, 7.0 & 7.5

This will fit 18x15x52mm bubbles (not sure where I saw that size?), but can easily be adapted to take any size bubble from Amazon - such as these

Which work out at less than 25p each.
Total cost to make well under £2
