Hi guys, after some simple advice on do's and dont's for packing a pinball ready to ship away. Its a TZ going to a UK address and Martin is most likely to collect in the nearish future.
Thanks in adavance, Matt

Take your balls out. Then once you’ve done that, remove the Pinball’s from the machine so they don’t flatter about when you tip it up on end.
Make sure you protect the head with foam or card so it doesn’t dent the side rails when lowered. Maybe wrap some card around the head before wrapping.
wrap with pallet wrap enough to support the head or use a pallet strap but make sure you protect the cab from the straps cutting in.

Wrap the legs in newspaper and then cable tie them together so they are easy to carry. Put the leg bolts and the backbox bolts and the balls and the keys and the manual if you have it in a plastic bag so you have three packages: pin, legs, bag of stuff. I always write the game name on the newspaper around the legs and on the bag so its easy for who ever is delivering to make sure that they deliver all of the right bits.

I usually remove the tilt bob too just in case it falls off when transporting. I'm not sure everyone does this but I put a big piece of card on the bottom to protect it when it's stood up on its end and getting slid around. Maybe not needed on an older Pin but I want a 'good as new' Pin to remain that way.
