P3-ROC serial protocol

Does anyone know if there is info out there on the serial protocol used by P3-ROC on the RS-485 link to the nodes on the bus? Searched their website but couldn't find anything beyond register definitions for the slave boards.

Follow-up question - any known similarities with the spike stuff?

It's an electrical specification. It doesn't say anything about the protocols used to avoid bus contention, address individual nodes' registers, etc.

As said on another thread - the stern spike system is closed source. Doesnt PROC have its own forum you can ask questions on? I remember asking a couple of questions on it a while ago.
