As title suggests I am after a PROC controller board - the one that replaces the CPU board in a Bally/Williams.

Bit of a long shot I know....

Not done coding since 1983 but its about time I got back into it......

Would rather buy 2nd hand as if I get knarked off I have lost less money.

Got an AFM hopefully coming this week Jim (@myPinballs ) , but I am starting from the base upwards. Going to have to learn everything. I am basic on linux but I was going to have a chat with Phil Dixon (as he is working on Forbidden Planet still) as he is only an hour from me to look at stuff. Was going to maybe work in pinmame first as I am okay on that.
More interested in putting in better sounds and getting rid of DMD and replacing with LCD to start with.
When you have 10 mins PM me and we will have a chat.
It may be a flash in the pan but I want to relearn coding as I last did it in my ZX Sinclair days!

My advice (from 7 years rewriting games) would be to start with the mission pinball framework and the p-roc board. This is what phil uses. Their frameworks should get you up and running pretty quickly and allow you to use an lcd screen pretty easily to. For me personally (with indy and whirlwind) i use pyprocgame and build on top of this. I also have code published on my github area should you wish to look at how certain things have been done. Please check the licence to.

You do realise though that you are starting from scratch, zilch, zero though yes? You cannot use any of the original wms code, so you have to recreate it all. pinmame is just an emulation tool running from stock roms.
