I know it’s hardly unexpected but it really is the end of an era. I suspect we’re going to lose a lot of the 70s stars soon.

He was an absolute legend a true Brummie to the heart! There will be no better son of Birmingham to live

He had several machines including Addams.

Ozzy Osbourne recently told a very amusing story of Black Sabbath's urge to play pinball over at the legendary California Jam festival in 1974, and what it took to scratch the itch.
During a recent episode of the Madhouse Chronicles, Ozzy and guitarist Billy Morrison spoke about a particular incident at the 1974 California Jam, when Black Sabbath performed in front of more than 200,000 fans.
Ozzy remembered that upon arrival at the venue, he had difficulties remembering the song lyrics. But his focus turned elsewhere rather quickly, thanks to something rather interesting happening:
"We flew out to California. We hadn't seen each other in months. We're in a ****ing hotel room with no amp and I'm still trying to remember the ****ing lyrics."
"So the next day we fly into this ****ing gig on a helicopter. We land, and I'm sitting on the other side of the trailer. I see this ****ing pinball machine below a helicopter."
Quite confused about the strange payload being carried by the chopper, Ozzy tried to get to the bottom of things:
"I'm going, 'What the ****'s this?' and it turns out one of the guys had a pinball machine, so all the other guys said, 'If he got a pinball machine, we all want one.' So there's two more that come up."
What a life Ozzy had; absolute legend.
We've all heard about Ozzy (Sharon?..) screwing over Jake E Lee re; bark at the moon writing credits and such, but the guy seemed like he had a good heart and obvs a real knack for coming up with great vocal lines.
Will never forget hearing the double cd Live & Loud album in the 90s and being blown away ; a big part of learning guitar for me and remember being really disappointed when I bought the VHS tape and was all different shows edited together and didn't really help me worth out the guitar parts
I wonder if an Ozzy or Sabbath pin is in the works? Lots to go on re; theme.
