I am pleased to announce that Special When Lit will be hosting the "not another birthday tournament" tournament in Salisbury on Sunday 19th October.
It will be all day head to head match play with no knockout and no elimination, unlimited number of rounds the next round starts as soon as the previous round has finished.
SWL will be open from 11am for registration, the tournament will start promptly at 12 noon. The event will end after the last match has been played after 5.30pm. Please ensure you can stay for the duration of the tournament.
Lowest ranked WPPR competitor will play first, the second player will be expected to finish the game early if the first player's score has been exceeded on the last ball. If any of the top 4 places at tied at the end then there will be a play off on a randomly drawn game. If all of the top 4 places are tied then there will be a final.
Games change on an ad hoc basis and are subject to serviceability and change.

Side tournament will be a high score competition on a randomly drawn game prior to the start of the main tournament. Games are to be played when waiting for the next round of the main tournament to start.
World Pinball Player Ranking points will be awarded for the main tournament and side tournament. Entry is limited to a maximum of 40 people.

Cost £10 adults, £5 for children aged 14 and younger when accompanied by an adult, free for under 8's and all machines are on freeplay.
The usual nibbles, tea, coffee and water are free of charge. Any items from the fridge must be paid for - eg. cans of fizzy drink and chocolates (nothing cost more than 55p, except cans of Monster at £1 each).
This is a not for profit birthday party/event that help raise funds to help keep Special When Lit open.
