Just HAD to post to say what a Great day I had yesterday up in Manchester. Shocked and surprised at the number of people queueing to get in when I arrived just after midday, however they went down pretty fast...

Well done to Poi with his incredible Haunted house (Multiball and speech!), Great to catch up with Daz, Chris, Dave and Mark who were manning the NBA comp (Tho i think I saw Chris and Dave doing all the running "repairs" to the machines - Well done guys!!)

Also big up's to Chris/Geoff/Malc/Dan and all the other guys I saw there.

It was a great show - was interesting to see all the other stuff at the show too - Especially the Pinballing Laura Croft - talk about crossover of the Genres.....

laura_pinball.jpg

(I have to say, tho you cant see it very well in the pic, the other Girlie with her had an AWESOME Tattoo on her upper right arm!!)

And of course some weirdo in an Alien costume, who took to chasing girlies around the area....

alien1.jpgalien2.JPG

Lots more pics to come when I get back, however I have created an album in the Gallery called "Northern lights 2012" for everyone to stick their pics in :)

Thanks guys for a great day - here's to Next year :)

Paul

Travelled up from London to go yesterday, was a great day out. Loads of variety, had to try hard not to stick to the pinballs all day! Got to play some great pins though. Played the modded haunted house - didn't manage to launch multiball and couldn't hear the speech because it was of all the noise from the other machines, but was still nice to play.

Was that you in the alien suit then? You came over and started humping AFM while I was playing 👅

Just in, that was a great show indeed.
There was so much space and did not get too hot or noisy despite the amount of games being played at once. It was also great that so many of the people playing were not collectors but new people trying things out.
I have so much respect for the NLP crew who put so much effort into making the show happen, and then making it so relaxed. Great work guys.

Amazing line up of pins, looked like a hell of a lot of work and preparation went into it. Well done to all involved!

Just got back myself from whats been a fantastic weekend of pinball. It was great to see everyone and catch up :)

Huge thanks to Daz, Mark, Dave and the rest of the NLP crew. All the hard work you guys put in has resulted in an awesome pinball show.

Awesome show, well done Daz, Mark, dirty-faced-Dave, Poi, and anyone else who was responsible for putting it all together. Lots of work I suspect.

The show made me realise that however weird and creepy the pin scene is, there are even weirderos out there in the creepyvid scene. Evidence below. Discuss?

Would like to add my thanks to everyone that was involved in the show - it was brilliant.
All the crew went out of their way to ensure that everyone felt welcome, and they were smiling and fun all weekend - even at 9pm on the Sunday when they were still non-stop taking down machines & helping people load up cars/vans - thanks guys :)

For anyone that's a bit of a stats nerd (like me) - you may be interested in the audits from my STTNG that I took along. I did a factory reset of the machine when it was set up & only changed a couple of settings (kickback to medium from hard, and return to duty on).

stats

Wondered if anyone else took stats.
I only thought about this before the show and only reset the audits on a few - SMan,my HH,and MBash to be precise.
SM must have bad code there's no way it was only 194 plays.250-350 sounds more likely - esp after what Dan said re his stats.
I accidently reset my HH one too:confused1:

I reset the stats on my Batman, which I also did before the pin party. Haven't looked at the most recent set though yet. I'll pull the stats out and post them when I get it set up again soon.
Think TZ was also reset before the pin party, and then not used until the NLPS, so it has cumulative stats.

Awesome show by the way. REALLY good selection of machines there this year, one of the best I've ever seen at any party. And the set up and take down seemed to run quite smoothly indeed, bar some minor issues like backglass being smooshed, and bolts/balls going missing (my bad, though I believe they have now been found safe and sound).

Top work to all involved!

Hey all finally got all games dropped off and others picked up,I'm knackerd thanks to all who helped at show.....Steve who helped my mrs on the tombola desk ,ronsplooter for helping me sort out whitewater and calimori who ran around too,and all others that ae up some of their time to help

It was a pleasure working with you guys and so kind of you to lend your pride and joys.
Paul, thank you for bring TZ, it lived up to it's reputation as being a great game. It was in constant use and I had to queue to play it each time, except for the out of hours games.:hand:

Nice one Dave, it was a cracking show. Few more wires for you to solder on Marks Whitewater though ;)

Yeah marks needs a little attention,so does my sttng lol in fact all the games that came back to mine have the odd fault but ill gladly fix them as ppl allow me to play their best games in return for me giving them space at home:peace:

So I finally got my machines set up again last weekend ...

I'm abit late to the thread, but I have to say that you guys put up an absolutely amazing selection of tables at Replay. I really didn't expect to see such an amazing selection of rare, high end and popular titles all in one place. Well done to everyone!

Great time - can't wait for the next one :whoo:

I wish more of us had been able to say hello to each other. There were loads of people I missed, or talked to but didn't make the connection. Hopefully next year I will know more of you and it will be even more pleasurable.

I didn't get to meet some f the peeps on here either although I was was with my head in a machine most of time,me and mr ronsplooter managed a small soldering party together
