I am selling my Gladiators pinball machine to make room for a change of machine. Owned this for nearly three years and ironically enough it has been virtually hassle free in all that time other than one broken drop target and a couple of failed LEDs. Now all it does on start up is display the message that there is a switch return fault 3 &6. The G I comes on and the display too telling you about the fault. You cannot access the menu to do anything else.

Work done on this machine included a playfield stripdown a couple of years back to give it a proper good clean and re-rubber. All flippers had been recently rebuilt prior to this and are strong and snappy . Playfield has a mixture of new lamps and leds . Backbox is all leds. I added sideblades and a custome speaker panel plus instruction cards at that time. I replaced countless screws and fasteners with new ones too along with some coloured plastic fasteners to the plastics.

Cabinet and backbox are in very nice condition with a few touch ins. Playfield is excellent with only minor wear . Legs are in really nice condition. All leg bolts / levellers and balls were renewed . Original manual included.

The game itself is real good fun to play and tends to go under the radar somewhat. With the four flippers you can really keep the game flowing. You have a swinging mechanism called the Catapult you have to guide the ball up the ramp and through in certain modes. It also has a shaker motor too which can be a bit powerful in my opinion . That can easily be disconnected if it annoys you.

Viewing can be arranged if you wish , i am available most days. Post code G74 4NX , East Kilbride, Glasgow. Delivery and packing can also be arranged if you require it but i would need your address to get a quote. Of course collection in person is fine too.

In before someone else mentions this was supposed to be Legend of Zelda pin but they lost the licence and had to retheme it, can still see what would have been the triforce on the pf. If it had been a Zelda it would have been worth quite a bit more I suspect, fun game for the money if someone can sort it easily.

When you disconnect A1J7 does the fault go away or remain on? On its board, off it's somewhere on pf

I am sure i did this a couple of months back and the switch short message disappeared but was replaced by the high score table and a bunch of question marks. Assuming i have the correct plug i tried again today and the same thing happened but now after reseating the connector the message reads switch return short number 5 ! If it is a board fault which i am guessing it is i do not have the skills to sort it i`m afraid. I did at the time have a long good look around the playfield looking for anything obvious but couldn`t see anything. Thanks for the advice anyway.

This has been top of my list for years, I love this game. Health isn't on my side currently so I can't be buying anything but I wish you the best of luck selling
Thanks for that it is indeed a cracking game.......when it works ! Health is by far and away the most important thing in life. Nothing worse than not being able to do what you used to, hope things improve for you.
