Following some conversations at UKPinfest 2019, A few good folks wanted to be kept apprised on my new venture here in Ireland.
Well rather than send everyone in UK and Ireland separate bits of information I said id make this post and you can follow the progress here and have the links.
I'm open to suggestions and ideas on how to improve things and be more efficient if you spot any problems chime in.

The Idea came from my trip to Texas pinball festival (hitting those barcades) and my trip to Arcade clubs Leeds and Bury and Tilt while looking at the place in Dublin called token
While all worked and are still working they did not cater for everything each had the pros and cons i.e. some were made to break even, some to cash in, some too small and some too big, Some no food, some just craft and some without arcades.

The Business plan was to get Arcades and pinball back into Ireland in a central venue that can accommodate all demographics as much as possible while making the place welcoming to all.
With the faltering Pub Trade none existent arcade/pinball trade and the so so food trade over here and to cater for Pinball, Retro arcade, Modern arcade, Asian arcade, and have the services of good food plenty of beer choice and be an easily accessible venue.

The Venue is located In Limerick the place formally know as Scotts bar in Limerick City, subject to planning. 20 Minute walk from the city centre or 9-minute walk from Punches Cross bus stop. We needed somewhere big enough and accessible enough in order to sustain 50+ machines, enough tables, seating, etc!

I got one of the best chefs in the country and deff the best barman so good on that ,bonus Shannon airport 10 mins down the road with cheap flights :)

All the very best with this venture Alan.
We will look forward to coming over to visit and support once you get it all up and running.
Looking forward to it.
D.

What a fantastic line up of stuff mate. You will pull all ages in with that lot.
I think why Arcade club has done so well is Andy has went away from the 'elite' arcade snob who will only play the classics to catering for everyone. Groove coaster will guarantee success in any venue.

There was an arcade in Lemerick, who's machines were all in top nick 🤔😁

Thank you all for the comments. Its looking week 1 or 2 of November as all the legal stuff has been sorted and doing up of one floor starts this Monday with machines been dropped into that floor sat the 12th.
The ground floor will start straight away after but has a bit more to be done. Signage going up the 14th.

The Game lists changes day by day and @BigIan has offered some of his old school games to the mix to bring the pins to 15.
I have sorted a couple of 4 player cabs Simpson/turtles and some candies for the shumps guys. Also, a few games not on the list yet that are touch and go if they make it in time for opening.

If you guys are doing a group day out or weekend let me know and il sort something out for preview night that is limited and il add you to that limited number of 100 as VIP's or any time after we open.

Superb idea. Trip to Eire on the cards, nice to have another location to head for. Looks great - best of and hope to see you soon.
