New members - say hello right here : )

Welcome to the forum Tim @Longbow I see you're in Gods county (Notts), I'm in Long Eaton. You and Angie are more than welcome to come round and play some of my games once lockdown is over if that's of any help with making a decision  I've not got any EM pins at the moment (only a rifle game) but have got stuff from a lot of other era's that should give you an idea of the types of things you can get.
That's very kind of you, thanks.
We would love to come and have a play as soon as it is possible to visit
Cheers
Tim

Hi all, newbie here but medium term lurker on the forum! Completely new to pinball but have played a couple of machine close to where I live. Looking to acquire my first machine as I have now moved house but there are so many to choose from. Thought I'd introduce myself. Cheers.

Just to add, I live near Bognor Regis, not sure if there are any other pinball fans from that area on here?

I grew up round Bognor way, and go back often. I remember playing pinball machines on the pier arcade - where are the good ones now?

There aren't many at all to be honest, only place I have found is Mr Ps arcade and they have two old sterns there. A pinball arcade would do really well here

Just joined and saying hello. I have been a small time arcade collector for many years, but as I am about to free up some space in my arcade outbuilding, I am considering dipping my toes into the Pinball arena. Some may recognise me from UKVAC and the defunct Jamma Plus forums. Also a regular at Arcade Club (which I am missing terribly). My current collection can be viewed here https://www.arcade-museum.com/members/member_detail.php?member_id=403159 In addition to this I have a Blast City, a Big Century, an Electrocoin Goliath Mk3 running a muli-williams, and a Jamma'd Dino King.

Welcome @2huwman , @Snowy . I grew up in the Bognor area too, moved away long since as didn't fancy working at LEC  . Great memories of cycling along the prom to the arcades back in the day, the Pier, Harrison's (with dalek!), the small one next to Harrison's that always got the latest vid's first and two on Waterloo Square (ISB?). I give that area a wide berth now don't want to spoil the memory.

Yeah good memories, it's changed quite a bit since then but still a nice place to visit. My kids love going to the arcades then getting an ice cream on the prom. Fortunately LEC is long gone too!

G'day all from Dubai. Stumbled across this forum earlier in the week. The sandpit is a somewhat 'quieter' place in terms of a pinball scene but whatevs.....Six pins at the moment. GB LE (for sale), JJP POTC LE, Original MB, Hobbit Smaug, LOTR LE and Stern JP Pro. Looking forward to connecting!

Hi all

I am fairly new to the pinball scene, I have a Williams Gorgar (in bits currently, playfield stripped for a overlay to be fitted) and a Stern High Roller Casino. Just wanted to say a quick hello.

Thanks for having me.

I see this...

but I am not a Newbie here, and I think I've posted something before. Oh, well... Here it is again:

Let me reintroduce myself... I am Xianek... And my hobby is to mod new and older pinball machines, perform restorations, recreating translites and backglasses, creating custom decals, mirror/art/side blades, plastics, and playfield artworks as well as some pinball electronics. I am interested in exploring new ideas, materials, and new printing techniques to improve and revise pinball machines. I have a collection of new and older pinballs that I constantly upgrade and tinkle with. Some of the products that I create are available for purchase. Due to moderate OCD, I am obsessed with quality and perfection. Cheers!

Hello all. I'm new to pinball and the forum (obviously!) Got my first machine earlier in the month and looking to absorb lots of useful information from all you seasoned pinball veterans!
Welcome to the forum dude, and congrats on your first pin - prepare to make more room as they like to multiply! What machine did you get?

Thanks for the welcome. Its an Atlantis. I remember seeing a video about one a couple of years ago. It looked fun and the shots looked like they wouldn't be rage inducingly difficult for a pinball newbie (unlike the Judge Dredd i played a while ago!).

Been having a lot of fun with it so far.
