My quick intro:
Hi I'm Carlos from Leicester and I'm 56 (apparently

). Back in the 80's/90's I was a trained field service engineer on Bally, Williams Zaccaria and Gottlieb pins and video games and I also worked in some big arcades.
Being 'in the trade' I was able to acquire a few ex-site machines and restore them. I was given a couple of them for free, but others I paid between £25 - £250, and I owned some real classics (and I operated a few on site):
Zaccaria: Hot Wheels, Williams: Hyperball, Roller Games, Appollo (e/m), Bally: Electra, Centaur, Mr & Mrs Pac-Man, Gottlieb: Night Moves, Kings & Queens (e/m).
Back in the 90's it was considered 'a bit weird' to have a pinball machine at home, now even taking inflation into account I can't believe how much people are asking for them, the same goes for my other hobbies: mechanical slots and Land Rovers.
When I'm not working at the uni I make sound effects and controls for fairgrounds, see the SteinFX Facebook page:
