Hello all, just stumbled on this forum and glad I found it.I'm retired living in N.Yorks.Am into jukeboxes and have a few.I enjoy the challenge of resurrecting neglected, forgotten machines and have restored a few.My ideal pinball would be a project machine but would need guidance from the experts on here of the differences between "project" and "basket case".I like relays and solenoids so an earlier mech would be preferred to circuit boards.I am ok with electrics, have my own paint equipment etc.Don't have the knowledge yet of what is a desirable pinball and what isn't but to be honest the restoration process is far more interesting to me than playing the thing so it doesn't have to be especially rare or in demand(once again I would need the experts to guide me here).Would prefer something not too far away as I dont have suitable transport to pick one up myself.Price is another thing I aren't sure about but would happily pay a fair price for a fair project. If you can help in any way either with advice or a suitable machine I would be grateful.
