In a unique collaboration the 'UK Pinball Hall of Fame' and 'Pinball Expo Hall of Fame' joined forces to induct Sir Elton John into their Halls of Fame.

Sir Elton John has enjoyed pinball machines in his homes since at least the 1970s
His definitive portrayal of the Pinball Wizard in the film ‘Tommy’ (this year is its 50th anniversary)
His many performances (approximately 500) of the song Pinball Wizard, recorded and live (especially the farewell tour gig at Glastonbury)
He is the celebrity most portrayed on a pinball machine (two models from Bally and 3 models from Jersey Jack Pinball)
And, most importantly, the stunning amount of money raised for the Elton John Aids Foundation through pinball which is ongoing.
