After a lot of stop, start I am now making small inroads on my white water refurb (shop log to follow once I've made a bit more progress).
The base of the cabinet is completely knackered and the sides are seriously ropey so I'm having my mate who is a chippie replace the whole thing. He has said it would be easier to make the whole thing out of mdf rather than just the base. Would this be strong enough or do the sides have to be made from ply?
Cheers,
Jamie
