The two linked machines will be back at pinfest . Get your basketball cheerleaders outfits at the ready for a fun and informal competition . The Scottish pinball association will be running it again this year from the saturday at 10 until 6 with the finals on the Sunday afternoon from 2 pm . Costs might go up a few pounds this year but we are trying to increase the participants too - more details on how to enter and play will follow in this thread .

NBA / fast break / linked machines will be back for completion again this Pinfest - Chris Edgar will release the Saturday morning slots later this week (watch this space ) and the rest can be signed up on Saturday mooning at 10 am in the NBA room (first come /first serve etc ) we are currently working out more spaces but cost this year will be £10 and the prizes will be lots of fun and trophies 🏆
 
Hello everyone,

To kick things off, we’re seeking 16 players to sign up for the competition. It’s a first-come, first-served basis, and to ensure fairness, you may only sign up for yourself. Exceptions to this will be made if someone wants to register and they do not have a Pinball Info account, we will accept via another member.

Please respond to this thread if you wish to participate. Having 16 names already registered allows us to build half the teams so we can make a head start this weekend.

Here are some updates from last year:

Entry Fee:
We’ve had to raise the entry fee to cover costs. This year, the fee is £10 per player.

Teams:
Due to the competition's popularity, we are increasing the number of teams from 6 to 8, allowing 8 additional participants to join. Last year, each league's winner qualified for the knockout stage along with the best two runners-up. With the addition of two teams, only the league winners will progress to the knockout stages this year.

If you are not successful in this round, don't worry. We still have 16 places left to fill, and registration for these remaining slots will be on Saturday during the competition.

and also the 2012 NBA champion Adam Thomson (edit - I read your note properly - I will ask him to sign up to the forum...)
