My two gottliebs,

Wow, it seems that the Gottlieb games that we all assume to be rare in the UK, are pretty prevalent in the rest of Europe, they just didn't make it to the UK.
 
just got back from flipperwinkel.nl,, found new glass for my pinballs, and some ic's,, couldnt wait a second,when i came home and soldered them in ,,, my tx is back in full working order,, and has new glass,, that does a lot !

i also found another oldie for cheap,, ist a full working "1986 williams pinbot" machine, ranked high in the funfactor . the seller sold it because his son left the house some time ago and the thing just stands there,, i got it for 400 euro. that is a steal! i just didnt want it for less. it looks like new. pictures follow, , ,

listen to that robot voice,, i allready love it

Well I may not have a TX.... yet, but looking forward to the Arena and a hopefully nice Class of 1812 on its way later this week. They'll be 'My two Gottliebs' for a while. :)

Yep, was a BIN though with four offers pending....

Hopefully as nice as described. Played it at Daventry last year, love the music and sound on it.
 
A little bird said you had pulled the trigger on that 1812.
It did look like a nice one, guess we will find out soon. Another one to play at yours. Looking forward to it.
 
Good to hear. Getting those potential space expansion thoughts again.... damn this running out of space malarky. Thought I had this hobby under control... and only lasted three months.
 
Pinbot is a great machine and that was a good price for fully working. Lovely line up.

That is the thing about loan machines, what happens when your habit/hobby leads you to end up buying more of your own. Simple answer, bigger house. :rolleyes:

If it wasn't for me (and Daz) that mint IJ would still look like a Porsche in the body of a scrap Lada. Now be grateful, stop sulking and make some space in that hobby-congested home of yours. ;)

The singing chicken is revenge for making me put up with that Hook music....:eek:

Hmm, I think the Hook music is some of the best in pinball, so much so, its going to be nice and loud at NERG so everyone can appreciate it ;)

Ah sorry Carl ... but it's noise on a stuck record for me that one. I'll bring my ear plugs to NERG ;). Apart from that, pirate games are cool ! What it needs is some Black Rose Piratey 70's porn-style music (that Luke hates) ! :D
