My Book of Arcade Memories and Experiences

Hi

I have written a book charting my arcade experiences throughout my life, a sort of autiobography but purely arcade related, including amonsgt others:

- my first arcade encounters in the mid 70s at the fairground
- the golden age of video games in the early 80s
- getting hooked on fruit mahcines in the mid 80s
- the explosion of pinball in the pubs in the early 90s
- collecting machines in the 90s onwards
- attempting video game world record scores
- attending and competing in pinball comps UK and Europe
- running the UK pinball league
- UKVAC meets
- arcade arts and crafts I've created

The book is 480 pages, appox 23 x 15 cm in size (like a large paperback), with some photos, mainly from last 15-20 years. Cost is £25 (plus £3.50 postage unless I can pass to you at a pinball or UKVAC event).

I have a sample copy printed, see pics attached of some pages. Let me know if you would like to order a copy as will be placing a bulk order soon.

Out of interest, do you keep a diary? Or do you document each tournament in some way after each event?

Not a diary but I do keep a spreasheet of each comp, just the hgihlights although have become a bit more detailed over the years, with some overall summaries. Would never remember otherwise apart from the significant ones!
 
I now finally have some copies of the book printed so ready to send out to all those who kindly ordered a copy.

So unless you have already paid please can you paypal me robotgreg@yahoo.com friends and family £25 plus £3.50 postage with address details and I'll get them sent out this week.

Or let me know if you'd prefer me to hand you the copy at a meet in which case, happy if you'd prefer to pay cash in person. If you also ordered the Williams arcade top trumps, then these are an extra £10 please. Still have some spares of these if anyone wants them too and not ordered.

Also have some extra copies of the book available if anyone else wants one.

I will contact all those who ordered the book if I don't hear from you first but thought easier to initially put out a general message .
