Rumours are that production is starting very soon, last I heard we may get them here by January.
 
I heard Gary Sterns right leg fell off so they decided to build postman pat instead, so check the box carefully Mark

Wouldn't surprise me, the original estimate was June this year.

They're making them in batches depending on trim colour choice, and as there is a mixture coming here I guess we will be near the back of the queue.
 
I'm still in for gold. Not sure if that is the right choice anymore, given it is a dull gold.
 
I have picked the gold trim I heard they are being made first do you think for the uk buyers they will just send the whole lot together
 
Yes, I've heard gold is first. I guess they will come together, given it is a small order, unless the initial run coincides with Stern shipment to the UK. Glad this is coming via Phil, given concerns regarding the reliability of the board under the playfield.
 
Hopefully they will have no problems I thought they would be here by February but a extra couple of months won't be a problem as long as there not rushed

If it goes smoothly, once that Stern production line gets going, they knock them out pretty quick don't they? Still keeping fingers crossed for january.

Hoping I won't see mine until Easter for space reasons.

Not sure I believe the Dec run comments. Think they would have been shouting about it by now if that was the case.

Suspect it might be a 2 month lag to get the UK ones. Think TWD turned up here about 6 weeks after the US ones were done, but I might have tagged a couple of weeks onto that.

Still have the occasional "why don't I just buy a decent 2nd hand original" moment but what's done is done. At least it will be shinny :)
 
Grrrr, knowing my bloody habits I'd end up with an original and a remake. Got to sell, got to sell, got to sell...... (actually did sell something tonight and I'm loving having the space - Martin's not due until next week:confused:)
 
Noticed the new price has jumped by £300 recently, is this down to the crap exchange rate I wonder?
 
Hi Paul, no, its purely down to exchange rate plus the pre order period is over now this is as good as "on the line". Put it another way, everyone who pre ordered made £300!

I guess you probably don't know any more than us, but do you think january still likely for delivery to UK?
 
January = no way. I would know about it if it were January. They are building the USA ones first incase of "issues" then they have to build x amount of gold, y amount of black and z amount of zinc and consolidate it into a container for the UK. We all have to pay up about 2 weeks before production starts, so I really think we will get 2-3 clear months notice before they actually arrive...

The exchange rate movement has accounted for £200 of the price rise! So in actual fact we put the price up by £100 to reflect the "out of pre order period".

So they will start building them 12th jan I hope it comes by end of February I'm getting excited now this will be my first nib

Looks like the beginning of April (15) to me which is not too bad when you think of all the other new comers to manufacturing and the promises they made / broke

Planetary Pinball posted yesterday that based on everything going to plan (which is questionable) from here, production will begin on 12 January, so March/April looks likely for UK delivery.
