MM, AFM INSERT PANEL WIRING

Hi all, I’m just looking at the insert panel wiring and the manual seems a bit muddled in my novice eyes.

MM GI insert J105
AFM GI insert J106
However the description is identical for MM GI insert J105 and AFM GI playfield J106

Also
AFM insert flasher J112 is identical (apart from (4 flashers MM, 3 AFM) to MM playfield flasher J112

It makes sense when you look at the manuals side by side.

Is this a typo and should I use common sense?
With my logic, I could use a AFM insert panel harness in a MM but just add an extra flasher in J112 and plug GI into J105 instead of J106

If I’m being really stupid please let me know as I’m trying to learn about these damn machines…

J105 and j106 are parallel connectors so it doesn't really matter whether which one you plug each of the playfield gi and Insert gi into.

J112 is insert flashers on MM. There are clearly 4 typos in the mm manual.
