After I bottled it and pulled the advert for this machine Gonzo contacted me and managed to convince me that I should sell it to him.

Site donation made.

Wife says stuff the bank balance she doesn’t want me selling my ToM so no longer available. Got a keeper there (wife and the machine 😊).

OK - it was either this or the TBL that had to go to top up the bank account - I originally listed TBL (see separate post) but then bottled it and am listing this for sale instead.

So any ToM lovers out there who are wanting to buy an absolute mint example, you're in luck!

I don't know what to say about this one. It is an absolutely gorgeous machine. Bought this fully restored so can take no credit for this other than installing the replacement smart eddy sensors and replacing the original Tiger Saw with a reflective gold one :

  • New cabinet decals fitted
  • New base of cabinet fitted
  • Sound system upgraded
  • Playfield clear coated
  • All under playfield parts removed and cleaned and replaced as needed (including coil sleeves)
  • Mirror Blades
  • Gold powder coated legs, leg bolts, side rails, lockdown bar and cabinet bolts
  • Tiger saw replaced with gold reflective one (NOT motorized)
  • Original eddy sensors replaced with smart eddys that auto calibrate every game
  • Stickers including back of head warning replaced
  • Even the lockdown bar has new foam underneath!

Only niggles I can think of:
  • Left side rail has a very minor dint in it (bought like that not something done by me) - I can't even get a proper photo of it, it's that hard to see
  • A couple of flecks of powder coating have come off the lockdown bar when I dropped something on it
  • Small black dot near Strait Jacket insert that has been locked in by clearcoat

Some photos uploaded. Can take more if you need them. Apologies for all the c**p under the pins in the photos!

Asking £7K or best offer for it and am open to trades but I would like around £4,000 cash coming my way if we do a deal. Would consider a little less cash coming my way if someone has a project Theatre of Magic to hand and they see this and think "Hey, I'd rather buy Andy's mint ToM than spend all winter trying to make mine look as good" and wants to do a trade :)

Collection from Hull. Martin knows where I live.

Damn - I want this one back!! Hopefully Andy won't mind me jumping in but I have all the original refurb pics if anyone is interested and some video and pics here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1KVTd4QccCDrk_GmA0vZ1fuIyGS2iukPA?usp=sharing

Buy it - you know you want to ;)
Fine by me mate - you did a fantastic job on it and everyone should get to see what a true, back to new resto job looks like!

I only wish I could afford to keep it. My wife has actually said she is not happy that I am selling it even if it is for the better of the shared bank account balance so I may be pulling the advert later today.

It's a cracker mate. It may just be that timing is bad due to the new releases etc.
