Hi Guys,
I've had some problems with my METLE.
I had a 5v rectifier go which killed the game dead. Phil kindly replaced the rectifier and the game now plays normally, with the exception of the lane inserts, 3 left lines of which stay on permantly, the 2 right ones are permantly off. Most of the LED inserts on the bottom of the playfield are on too. All GI is ok as are all the lane marker colour changing LEDs.
Stern are suggesting I should swap out my power driver board to see if it makes a difference. If that's ok, I need to test the LED control board.
Is there anyone out there with a METLE who wouldn't mind testing my power driver board and/or LED control board please? Stern say that the power board could be dropped into an AC/DC LE, Avengers LE, Star Trek LE or a Tron LE. I guess the LED controller board can only go into a METLE. I have no reason to think that the board will damage your game as the issue was with the rectifier that has now been replaced, so I'm happy to guarantee against any damage in the unlikely event of problems with your game.
Can anyone help me out please?
Cheers
Lloyd
