Anyone upgraded their Metallica speakers or added an external sub? What did you go for and what do you think of the results? Worth it?

Sub; yes, either Mission M2s and Tannoy HTS.

Lots of better subs are available, all depends on your pocket depth.

A sub is mandatory on modern Sterns.

do modern sterns have a sub woofer output you can easily connect to. or is it a case of splicing a wire in. or is it even more. implement ie sound card upgrade?thanks
