Wanted Medieval Madness used playfield

I'd make him an offer - worth a try
Can’t see him moving much from €700.. though may make an offer in a week or two.
There one in the states that was a bit on the expensive side but the exchange rates are quite favourable at the mo. So might see if he’s up for a deal as well 🤞

A little bump and freshen up the offer.
So I would like to offer £200 cash and an NBA fast break used playfield which is in great condition and could be swapped out or used as a wall hanger.
Exchange at Pinfest would be perfect to save on postage.

Just want to resurrect this search with Pinfest fast approaching. So an exchange can be done in person with not shipping.

I’m gonna beef up the deal a tad by offering the NBAFB playfield plus £250 for a used Medieval Madness playfield.
PM me if interested, many thanks.

What cabinet are you using mate?

Only reason I ask is I just used a flintstones donor cabinet for my corvette. Same era cabinet etc…

Took it to Ant H who did an incredible job turning it into a corvette.

Went to put my playfield in and it wouldn’t fit!!!!

The pivot nuts were too high. So when I installed the playfield, the front of the playfield was 2 inches away from seating home and the rear of playfield was hitting the top of the cabinet.

It was a stressful job figuring out where to drill new holes. And depressing drilling through freshly Redecaled cabinet decals.

In along drawn out way, I guess I’m saying unless it was a mm cabinet originally make sure the pivot nuts are in the same place 🤣🤣

That’s a great point and something I’ll need to check!
I’m using a NBAFB cab. So assumed all wpc95 pins would interchange.
It’s had a bare IPB MM playfield previously fitted by the former owner as part of a partial conversion and there weren’t any issues as far as I could see but it was unpopulated.

Worth getting someone to measure for you mate. Just in case

Bloody Hell!!!
Bet that hurt.

Aww man thats rough. I have the exact same issue on my home brew. Its a CV cab so the pivot bolts are sat lower for the DMD screen that would have been sat above the playfield. Had to 3D print a custom wall for now to stop balls flying off into the back of the cab lol.

I’ve just measured between NBA and AFM and they are the same position to within 3-5mm.
Do you think that is within a general manufacturing tolerance or a game specific dimension?

I’ve asked another member for confirmation of the pivot on MM.

Well I wouldn’t like to say but dropping my pivot point by approx 10mm dropped the front by about 2 inches.
Definitely get as many data points as possible and accuracy with the measurements is absolutely critical.

As long as you try the populated playfield in the cabinet before hand you’ll be fine. Or do what I did (retrospectively) and make be of these…
Just make sure you’ve tried it before you get the cab redecaled

Just had MM measurements and they are about 3mm out but precisely the same as the measurements for my AFM.

So as you suggest I may push ahead with the playfield first 👍
