Sold Mazda RX8

Hey gang

A bit random I know! But I was just getting this all ready to post to the usual car selling places and thought I'd stick it on here first. You never know, somebody here might be looking for one of these!

So I need to sell our Mazda RX8. But as I will no doubt spank the money on pinball I thought I'd see if I can cut out the middle man and see if anyone fancies a trade. Stranger things have happened, right?

So here it is:

2005 Mazda RX8 192. (2005 is the last year before the road tax was almost tripled for this particular car!)
New clutch fitted a couple of months ago.
Just passed it's MOT so has almost 12 months.
Only 62k on the clock.
Really nice car with some nice features including:

Full leather interior
Heated front seats
Electrically ajustable driver seat
BOSE sound system including 6 disc changer
Super cold climate controlled air con
Approx 2 million airbags (maybe a slight exaggeration)
Very cool 'suicide doors'


That's about it I guess. It's a nice looking, very nippy car that drives great. Jeremy Clarkson said it was awesome so it must be true!

Would trade for a modern DMD pin.

Noooooooo, don't sell it Dean, RX8 is such an awesome car! Had one (246) before, goes like poop off a shovel, great handling and just all round fun to drive. Don't miss the MPG though

Yeah, they certainly do shift!
You are quite right about the MPG of course but it's worth it for how fun the car is to drive. We only ever used it as a 'weekend car' and not for every day stuff.
I would love to keep it but I have just bought a van and now have to juggle 3 vehicles on the drive way which is really ****ing me off!!

Love these - almost got one last time around, however difficult to find without the "hot starting" issue.. (or the fact that if hot, it wont!)

Oh and you cant fit a machine in the back!

Yeah having to warm the engine was a pain but only took a couple of minutes, just remember not to shut the engine off before its warmed up or you'll get familiar with your breakdown service

Always loved it when C0ckstar drivers wanted to race you at lights and you'd leave them for dead for a fraction of what they paid for their wheels

You cant get a pin in the boot but it is more spacious than it appears

I can honestly say that I have never had a problem starting this car. However, I have always followed the start up and shut down procedure I was shown when I bought the car. It's never given me any grief.

Quite correct about fitting a machine in though. Hence the purchase of a van!

Already bought a Citroen Berlingo. Takes about 20 minutes to get up to 60. Not quite as fun at the RX8. Does take a pinball machine though!

I looooove my RX8..... can't get in pin in but I've moved some pachislos on the back seat!

Not a fan of the engine and rebuilds are bloody expensive but A very pretty car
