Making decals ?

I have a couple of decals here (self adhesive ) that I don't think are available anywhere right now. Could be useful for others if I got some run off.

What's best way to go about reproing them ?

I'm guessing a high quality scan, then print on to something ? I have read about this loads over the years in various sites but I'm pretty clueless about the fine details

I want to get a flintstones one made up, but I'm planning on homebrewing something at the minute with waterslide decals and then mylar or something to protect it.

Also really interested grizz. I've got some custom coloured Taf apron decals I'm struggling to get printed onto clear vinyl. Waterslide would be good too.
