Hi all
My lw3 had developed a new fault. When switching the game on, well nothing much happens. You get the first call out. The lights come on.... and that's it. No dmd. No booting sequence. Nothing. Dead. Any idea where to start?
Without dmd it is difficult to understand what happens...
Any suggestion?
Thanks
Dom

Yes sorry i should have said that i have checked the fuses i could see and reseated the dmd connectors (both ends) just in case but that made no difference.

No. Pressing the start button does nothing. I imagine it is because it hasn't booted up at all.

Right i was going to mention this in original thread: i only get two lights. The third one (the one most on the left titled 'blarking' ???) Is extinguished...

Which could be caused by? A faulty power driver board presumably as it is the job of the board to create this 5v?

This is where you need someone with more knowledge than me to reply.......
Have you reseated all the connectors to the boards? (not just the DMD).

Only visually as my multimeter was at home and i was at work... with my pin. I am taking it tomorrow with me and will reseat all connectors and check the fuses with my multimeter.

Guys, an update on my lw3 fault.
I decided to start by reseating all the connectors on the main board first. And that had the effect of getting the game to reboot. I could start a game and play but still without dmd. I then reseated the connectors on the power board and dmd again and somehow the dmd came back to life. So that's it. You have solved it. Played it and got my second highest score. Thank you for your help.
