LOTR Balrog Bulb

Can somebody please tell me what bulb I need for the Balrog? It has a #89 socket but having tried both an LED and incandescent 89 they both burn out almost instantly.
I've read everything I can find about this online but I am still non the wiser as of which bulb I actually need. Is it some weird bulb that is not easy to find?

Of course, there could just be an issue with my game. I don't know. Any help would be great.

I don't know full story but according to this early lotrs had different socket, seems people change the socket so assume there was an issue with sourcing correct lamps maybe?

I'm sure someone on here can clarify.

Cheers Ive. That is pretty much the conclusion I have come to as well. Seems a bit weird to have used a one off type bulb but that seems to have been the case.

Yes matey. It's nice to have one back again. I only sold my original one (to you of course!) because I was relocating and sold the whole collection. It's probably my all time favourite game. I do love the theme though as I am a massive nerd.

Would love to get my Barlog back on fire though. (Not literally again though hopefully.)
