Having failed to snag Red and Teds roadshow on flea bay yesterday I'm possibly in the market for something else.
I really fancied Red & Ted.. seems like fun to me..

Im sorta tempted by the diner that @Cookizza has posted. But im not convinced its my cup of tea. (Yeah ok, ive only really play the simualtions on PC - which isnt a good test but theres no tables in these parts these days so its all I have to go off)

I currently only have TAF. (Previously ive had Centaur, Barracora, Flash and Mr and Mrs PacMan). Kinda like the older stuff. I was gonna pick up Vector from the Dave Rolfe collection - but it went AWOL :( (Theres one of those for sale - but its restored and more than I want pay for Vector)

Ideally looking at something in the £1k mark (though im a little flexible). Doesnt need to be mint. (Centaur was somewhat dead when I got him.. and I got him working again :) )

If you wanted a Centaur back there was one that was a little over priced but was available on here.

Hold out for a Roadshow they do come up. Out of all the Pinball machines I’ve owned it’s certainly the best bang for buck. Good luck with your search.

*Biased Opinion Warning*

Diner is fantastic. Not particularly deep (even when compared to similar era games) but simple, enjoyable, reasonably challenging and a good sense of old school humour. Especially great if you're a fan of repeatable ramp shots (I am) and late flipper gobble hole shots (bit like creech's 'slide' shot). The MB is a two ball, but beyond brutal, which makes nailing the rush shots that much more of an achievement, as it's really not easy to pull off consistently even when you've got the game wired. There's no ball save too, so be prepared to let the pinball gods have a few.

Plus, it's an absolute gem of a machine to shop, as the artwork on the pf and cabinet are truly beautiful things. Just check out what this bloke has done with a few tastefully chosen GI LED colours.

Also because it's so damn good lookin, the wife lets me have it in the house - which is something I can't say for creech!

I loved Centaur. Sorta wish i still had him (I owned it twice. Got it, sold it to a mate, bought it back then sold it again).. but I fancy something different
I saw the one that was on here/flea bay recently. Mine had the same bare area of pf when I got it - an artist friend fixed that right up !

Not played taxi - except in pinball arcade.

I should hold out.. but
a. im an impatient sort
b. there will never be another for sale again.. ever.. just as long as I want one.. Soon as I get something else.. there will be several ! :)
