Recently moved home back in April. Def don’t recommend doing so during a pandemic!

Finally got my pins moved in and setup in the garage, I wanted to ask what recommendations do others have for lighting setups that don’t glare on the glass? It’s got some spotlights but I want to give it more of a games room feel.

any chance of a better shot from further back? good sized garage though!

the track light with spots aimed at the walls works well, then maybe some crazy light led, but hard to see the room to where to put it.

It’s a nice sized double garage . Managed to get 12 pins and my point blank 2 just on one side. The Mrs wants to keep the other side for some gym equipment, but I’m sure I can sneak a few more on that side too. I originally planned to have a garden games room but garage is a decent enough size.

yeah so I'd go for a strip pointed at the wall to light with the ambient light.

then put crazy less around the edge behind a plinth and maybe get a neon.

Neil.

Im currently kitting my bar out....i’ve gone for dimmable led strips lights. I have not got the diffuser fitted all the way round yet but here is the effect. As you can see its too bright without the diffuser fitted around the machines, this i think its better than spots over the glass, a softer effect.

how big is your room Skippy? I tried that but found the brightness from the LEDs wasn't good enough to light the room. And for some games it meant they were very dark.

Still think these panel lights are pretty good, even light on the playfield with no reflections when not placed over the glass.
Cool white through to warm white and dim, each panel can be controlled.
I might add colour changing LED’s around the edge one day for a bit of an effect.

I'm too looking at ideas for lighting. My room is only one row of pins so following this thread with interest.

Are track lights easy to install?
I'm assuming the track is powered and the lights slide along it into positions you require?

Pretty easy to install but I’m an electrician, very versatile track lighting but can be expensive. Lots of options with the lamps too.
You can’t go to far wrong with track lighting as you can position the lamps to suit your needs easily.

Mean looking Landy :)
