I was replacing a bulb where the bulb holder was quite stiff and I've ended up snapping the holder from the board :tut:.

What are my options for sending this off somewhere for repair, or is there somewhere to buy a replacement? It is beyond my soldering skills.

Many thanks.

You couldn't possibly have a better chance to learn how to solder!
+ the satisfaction of fixing it yourself.

Already tried and failed. There is very little metal visible to solder on to. I tried and the solder just stayed on the soldering iron . Rather than make it worse I think paying someone who knows what they are doing to do it would be my best option.

You want to get the old legs out,
the new legs will go through the holes left .
Hardest part is getting the old solder off but some flux and a sucker would do that job nicely

If you can source a replacement bulb holder Martin I will solder it in for you.
