Don't know if its any good or not yet but Gyroscope Surface Level for the iPhone is currently free on the App Store. Could be a limited time thing but might be a handy level!

Thanks for the tip - I just downloaded it (it's still free). Hopefully it's better than the Spirit Level app that seems to need recalibration way too often.

Just don't do what I once did, accidentally lean on a flipper button with your iPhone stood on edge against the flippers...." FORE! " . Lukily no damage but could easily have been a cracked screen. Alternatively just don't have the power on during levelling!
