Hi all
I setup a Stern Pirates of the Caribbean for a friend. It needed a damn good clean, and was missing flipper rubbers, door lock, needed new balls and a few other minor bits.
When I first set it up the coin door buttons weren't working, so I couldn't put it into test, then they started working so I ignored the issue.
I went back last night to install the new balls, flipper rubbers and other bits and clean up the playfield. Did all of that and then when starting a game the left flipper is dead...
Immediately checked the fuse and it was fine, checked voltages and when the flipper button is depressed the coil is not getting voltage.
So I decided to put it into test, and the bladdy coin door buttons aren't working again.
So currently dead left flipper and coin door buttons don't work.
Is there a common denominator linking these two things together? I am stumped.
