Led's for EM's

Asked about this a while ago but can't find the thread???
Can anyone recommend some led's for an EM machine? thx.

I put LEDs from Dave in my Cow Poke for the inserts and they work great. www.pinball-led.co.uk

Incandescent with condoms look better for GI though IMHO

I run @PinballDaze milky domes for GI and 4SMD for inserts - http://www.pinballdaze.co.uk/

I fitted them to protect the plastics and new bumper caps from heat, my EM is a space theme so bright lamps suits it. You may find that inserts flash so I'd suggest buying a sample and see how you like it.

I also use the milky dome ones from @PinballDaze in the GI but use normal incandescent in the inserts

When I stripped my EM I had some incandescents which got extremely hot very quickly - don't understand this perhaps they were the wrong bulb type.

#47 run cooler. Slightly dimmer.

Maybe they were motorcycle 6V bulbs, which I remember reading a warning about in the late 70's on account of the heat generated
