What happens if you move the displays around in the machine ? I used this to figure out that a brand new LED display I bought had arrived with faulty segments.
If my memory is correct power comes from J3 on the Sol board , J1 on mpu is where the data comes from . Displays are on a daisy chain player 1 then 2 than I think it's match display next , them player 4 and 3 last . As player 1 is ok , mostly likely it's the daisy chain which links all the displays together .

Yep J3. I'll have a probe on Monday and hopefully find the issue.
Considering the state it came to me I'm chuffed just to get the attract lights chasing!
The Chase lights which gives the infinity look around the back box are all on the aux lamp board only

I've moved the displays around and digit issue follows the display so wiring is good.

3 faulty displays out of 5 , dear gods and little fishes . Hopefully they will replace them free of charge
