Hey guys,

Another question! This time about LED's. I usually get mine from http://www.pinball-led.co.uk/ but there is so many choices now it is difficult to choose, also new ones pop up all the time. I just wanted to know which of these likely for inserts (GI) is going to be the brightest? Some new ones have popped up called "Flux LED's" and I have no idea what the difference is between these and the other superbright ones for sale.

I'm assuming that the "Megabright 4x SMD" LED's are going to look the brightest but I could be totally wrong!

Just wondered if someone could give me the rundown of the differences, I'm not interested in buying from somewhere like Cointaker which is overseas and would rather get them here or at least within this country. Maybe David might pop in and explain!

Thanks!

I ended up emailing him as I'm likely going to buy a kit anyhow, turns out the 4SMD's are not sold :( but I think I have the answer I was after!

Whilst the SMD bayonet is the brightest the better LED's are the Premium 2's which I have used before in my BSD (the Premium 2's are advertised as non-ghosting but I have found these still do, I guess every machine reacts differently so it isnt a certain thing, but a special rom from @Paul sorted it). Likely I will go for the Premium 2's again. However 1stoppinball stock the 4 SMD superbright ones so I might consider that also. Decisions, decisions!
