I have another Stern ballast that has failed, last time I replaced one it was over £30.
What's the best LED replacement please that will fit straight in ?
Many Thanks

Thanks, just what I needed, there are so many out there, these look great as from what I can see you just replace the starter and don't have to disconnect anything.
Have ordered, coming Wednesday.
Many Thanks

Not sure why I can't get these to work. I tried just swapping the starter and tube, nothing.
I then took the power to the tube through the starter and it then blew the starter.
Power was just on one end.
I can't see any markings on any of the ends so no idea if they have polarity.
I thought it was just a case of tube and starter going in ?

Many Thanks

This is on the description of the energiser tubes on amazon....

However it does say.. "Voltage 240v"... Looking at the above it states theres a 110v feed to the tube....

looks like it wonr work on 110.....

I suspect you will need another LED starter tho - I think the replacements are a fuse...

When I changed mine on LOTR I followed the supply cable and it joined a 110v feed in the cabinet by the bass speaker, right next to this was a 240v feed, literally plugged into that and my LED tube was now supplied 240v.
I had also changed the wiring to completely bypass the ballast (which I then removed)

These do not light at 110, I was looking for a replacement with no hacks.
I want to keep it all original and thought there was a simple LED plug in replacement.
I will order another ballest and stick with the old fashioned tubes.
It's nice to keep all the wires in place, something about keeping it all original.
I have had machines in the past where all the light circuit was removed and I dont want to start doing that.
The LED tubes have gone in the bin, Amazon must have changed the return policy as they used to collect everything, but now they are trying to send me to the post office.
Many Thanks

I put one in my Big Buck Hunter and it was simply just plug and play.

I got it from Amazon too.
