Looking for some of the lovely pin donators to agree to let us ladies use their pins for the ladies comp on the Friday night in the wee room beside the bar. We need about 8-10 pins but also they will be used for the UK league finals on the Saturday and then open to all pinheads. Who ever agrees will get a nice big bit of tablet and I will polish up their machine

Just to say thanks to @ailsaclunie and everyone else for running this. It was a really nice event and meant for the rest of the evening and all of Saturday - that all the ladies have been speaking a lot more

Couldn’t believe there were so many in one room too! Thanks again and cheers for the wine and cupcake

A big thank you to @ailsaclunie and everyone who organised and ran the Ladies Comp this year. I agree with @bethamari - I spoke to and socialised with so many more ladies afterwards than I would've done if we hadn't all played together in the Friday comp. It was so much fun and a great idea, nothing like a bit of female empowerment in the middle of a sausage fest! Jokes aside it was a valuable addition to the weekend, and I hope it will go from strength to strength, from the turnout this year I’d say there is more than enough reason to keep it going into future Pinfests, bigger and better with more cupcakes than ever and maybe even some air con! Thanks peeps. xxx

Super proud of Leah's 3-1 performance in her first competitive appearance (something I've still not had the bottle to do)
Not that she's super bitter about her 1 loss due to the TWD slam tilt/shaker issue fixed for the men (&Lynn league finalist)... obvs as she would say

Thoughts for next year, quicker registration and longer play time and of course an air con room .
Thank you to all you came and joined in . 10 ladies had never played before and some were very anxious and did not want to play competitively but everyone joined in . Thanks to Bethany’s mum too for being such a good sport
Finally - thanks to Chris and Dave and the pinball team for keeping the machines going ( despite being a bit nervous - going into that room ) and to big Phil for the opportunity , resources and support . Xx
